MacWood Filmmaking Course for Adults

Hosted by KPAC, this 12 week course will take you through the entire filmmaking process, from writing your script, to premiering your movie at a red carpet event!

7pm to 9pm on Thursdays and 11am to 1pm on Sundays, March 6th - May 29th

The 48 Hour MacWood Film Fest

Think you can make a film in just 48 hours? The MacWood 48 Hour Film Fest pushes filmmakers to write, shoot, and edit a short film in just two days!

The Annual MacWood Horror Fest

Think you can create the scariest short film? Enter the MacWood Horror Fest, where filmmakers craft original horror shorts for a chance to be premiered on Halloween night!

If you want to pursue an education in film, but you're coming up against the ever-growing cost barrier that affects many artists, we'll do what we can to help.

SHADOWS is a coming-of-age psychological horror film following Travis, a drug addicted teen struggling with mental illness.

Travis must face his fears and conquer his illness in order to survive the onslaught of relentless shadow creatures that threaten to take him and everyone he loves.

The film was produced and shot by MacWood Productions in and around Dawson Creek, BC. It premiered October 28th and 30th at the Centre Cinema Dawson Creek in 2024.
